I want to acknowledge that Kelly Counselling Services is located in the traditional territories of Treaty 7 peoples, including the Blackfoot people composed of the Kainai (Guy-Nah), Piikani (bee-Gah-nee) and the Siksika (six-ih-gah) Nations; the Tsuut'ina (soot-in-uh) Nation; and the Stoney Nakoda, including the Bearspaw, Chiniki and Wesley First Nations; and is situated within the Métis homeland and the home of the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3. I give thanks for being able to live, work, play, and learn on this land in peace as a Treaty person. As a settler on this land, it is my responsibility to align myself with the liberation and decolonization of Indigenous people.
